Tomorrow is the day, almost done packing and well I need to distract my self for just a minute. I am looking forward to the Fall in Chicago and a few things that go along with it!
This Wagon for apple picking, walks in the forest preserve and colourful crunchy leaves to jump on!
Tiberland boots for leggings and Jeans!

Princesses and Dunks
Yesterday I took Herc to Peekaboo Playland in Eagle Rock. It is one of his favorite indoor playgrounds here in L.A., we needed a break from the heat and packing. While there I saw this book, the illustrations were fun and bright and the message was sweet. It showed little girls playing sports and doing more than just looking pretty. As I've gotten older I have definitely become more girly and I love it, but I can still throw a ball as good as a boy!
....one of the best parts of having a little boy are the SNEAKERS! We picked these up for Herc at
Kicks in Larchmont. Someone is excited about his new Dunks.

Paper Chain Countdown
Yesterday Herc and I made this paper chain countdown for our move to Chicago. He is still too young to really understand the concept of us moving but I am always amazed about the things he picks up on. I've started telling him that we are going bye bye and that is why we have been packing, I also told him we will be going for a ride on an airplane. Today he ripped off the first link of the chain. You can do this for trips, birthdays, or any event your child is waiting for! It makes it easier for them to see and understand that they are getting closer to the event.

Sweet Tuesday
Have a Sweet Tuesday! Been busy packing up, we leave next week! Aren't these pretty? They are from the jolly good pud company in the UK. I figured it was fitting being the Olympics are going on in the UK right now.

Hand Print Art!
Almost everything is packed away but I have left some art supplies out. I have to say I am so excited that Herc will slow down once in a while to sit at the table and do an art project. He is still under two and doesn't stay focused for a long time, but this project held his attention for about ten minutes. He even asked to do it again later. It's easy, not too messy and pretty cute!
I let him stamp away, then I added the detail in black marker. An older kid can do his own details!
He had a blast!
Here is a little guide on how to make a few animals with finger prints!

L.A. Bucket List
Top 5 Spots that we will eat at before we leave L.A!
1. Best Fish Tacos in Ensenada
Only two things on the menu - fish or shrimp. The shrimp are amazing my mouth is watering typing about it!
2. Portos
Start with the cheese rolls, just trust me.
3. Petrossian
Known for their caviar and salmon. I love their Croque Madam and will have that as my last meal!
4. Larchmont Wine and Cheese Shop
This has been my favorite stop for a quick bite with friends, oh how I will miss it! Can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches, but I am a big fan of the Tuna and Salami.
5. Katsu-ya
Ahh... and the Sushi! How will I ever replace it? Katsu-ya in Studio City was a treat, a special place John and I went for our Anniversaries. Best Sushi in L.A. hands down.
If you're ever in L.A. this is a nice little guide!

oh how ferociously cute!
Well I think I might have just found the most awesome fall coat for Herc. I almost didn't want to share but than that wouldn't be so cool of me! It's from an Etsy shop called little goodall.
I can't get over how beautiful and whimsical they are and not to mention the detail and craftsmanship! I love to see kids clothes that are just sweet and fun and colourful.
This is Fantastic Grey Fox
Can't choose which is my favourite!
